The British Irish Lions have partnered with PT SportSuite to provide media services which empower the Lions’ to tell the story of the 2021 tour to South Africa.
The partnership will see PT SportSuite – an Official Partner of the Sport Industry Awards 2021 – establish a cloud-based media ecosystem to transform the way the Lions collect, manage, and share their digital media. The platform will also enable the collection of media content from players and supporters.
By transforming the Lions’ digital media workflow, PT SportSuite will be tasked with unlocking the representative team’s digital media archive and providing OTT video distribution to the tour mobile app and web platform.
The digital media platform will work with the Lions’ existing partners to help the side communicate with all its stakeholders, and will provide an official media portal that gives sponsors real-time access to exclusive Lions media.
The pair will also bring fans into the process by giving them the opportunity to submit their own media via a series of fan content challenges.
